As with Water & Ice, Alexis Templeton uses a crystalline glazing technique to create striking yet soothing soft green glazed surfaces for these functional pieces.
The resulting surface patterns are distinctive: an iridescent finish on vertical areas—where the melting glaze runs thin—and a glassy emerald or forest green “pool” where the glaze collects in flatter areas.
